Great Spotted Woodpecker

Another day sorting our photographs on my computer; I have thousands! ]

There was a lovely sunrise, but very quickly the sky became dull, overcast and then torrential rain; it was also very windy.

Today's picture is of a Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding on the fat balls., There were a lot of birds feeding early in the day, no doubt they knew that bad weather was approaching.

The temperature at GMT today in my home village was five degrees Celsius.
