Skin
Today saw a rare trip right into the centre of Edinburgh, just as storm Barra was blowing in. In Penicuik there was driving sleet, but in Edinburgh it was just rain. I was comfortable in full waterproofs, but comedy was provided by people trying to use umbrellas. I was there for an appointment at a skin clinic, having finally decided that I ought to have someone look at my moles, which occasionally get mixed up in psoriasis. Happily, there was nothing to worry about.
This tree in St Andrew's Square was modern but tasteful - it changes colour to green as well - but it's good to see that the turd is devoid of Christmas decorations. It still despoils the skyline, though.
