Nana's tablecloth

While I was sorting out the airing cupboard this morning, I came across this tablecloth which was embroidered by my Nana.  She embroidered it when she got engaged - probably around 1932 - for her 'bottom drawer'.

We used to use it a lot and especially for parties in the garden for my birthday in May.  Most of the flowers are lilac, pink and purple.  But she ran out of thread for the last flower which is why it is orange.  As a child, I always insisted on sitting next to the orange flower.
