Not as planned…

Today I was going to do some gardening before an afternoon volunteering shift.  I managed twenty minutes in the garden before it started raining hard and had to come in, I then got a call to say my volunteering shift was cancelled.   In the meantime, had received message from No2 to ask if it was ok if he came back to photograph some large work.  He has a potential buyer interested in a few pieces.  The works are huge and were carried in from the shed, conservatory and sitting room completely re-arranged so they could be photographed.  To be fair he did put the house back together again but it wasn’t the afternoon I had planned.  Sadly he discovered two of the works had been damaged while they were being stored in the shed, so they remain in the conservatory drying out so they can be repaired (6 foot high x 18 foot wide!).  I don’t mind, really I don’t!   Fingers crossed they sell.

Received an email later in the afternoon cancelling tomorrow’s volunteering shift too - so plan B tomorrow too.
