Aspidistra

S’s grannie’s aspidistra, long lived, latest generation, originally a resident of Weißenburg in Bayern.
No golf yet again this morning, the sleet put us off. Pottered about for ages then decided to try to replace a dud DLR bulb in the car. I knew it was a bugger to do but had forgotten just how much. After ten minutes (felt like forever) of cursing and swearing I eventually managed to blindly fit the trx key into the base of the bulb fitting, to find there was only room for a clockwise turn … and I needed anti-clockwise. Oh joy! Tried and tried and tried again, then gave up before I sprained my wrist. I may well try again or I may resort to KwikFit.
Consoled myself by baking some buns and eating a few. Feel much calmer now.
