The advance of the coots

It was a beautiful day and magical to catch the sunset at the lake on my way home. The lake was so still and calm and it gave me a few moments to ponder before heading home to finish off those reports which needed writing. The spicy pepper and tomato soup with mint yoghurt dressing I made yesterday was a real highlight to the evening.
