Stormy painting

The day started in the best possible way with a kingfisher sighting on the way to the bus stop. It was still rather dark and I was surprised how vivid the blue was even without much light.
A short trip to Perth to see another Joan Eardley exhibition, this was one of the best with a great collection of photographs of the artist painting in challenging conditions. The blip is the shore at Catterline, apparently she used to routinely tie down her easel to the beach with ropes and boulders.
Back home in half the time with no stops, and because I fell asleep it felt a bit like teleportation.
