All Quiet on the Stairs
All Quiet on the Stairs
Away in Norfolk with some of the family for the weekend. This is our 19th year away with Zoe and her lot. Its actually 19years - 1 as we did not go last year due to the pandemic :(
We started when Sam was just a few months old. Typically the first weekend in December, this year we were joined again by Frances and her family.
We were back to Sheringham. Lovely town. We stayed in a old Victorian (I am guessing) house with this superb central staircase. Over the weekend I took a number of photos, just playing with angles and light, PLUS dodging balls that Aiden and Beanie dropped on my head.
Yesterday just before everyone left I got them all to spread around the banisters on the three floors and laid my iPhone on a cushion and used the front camera to take a photo using the bluetooth trigger from my selfi stick. Not the best decision in hindsight as the quality of the front camera is quite poor plus the light was very poor so high iso. Hay Ho you live and learn. Sam did say 'You could have used the front camera and trigger it from your watch'. doh.
I call this inset picture 'Please, Please Me', you can guess why
This morning I played with creating a sweep panorama of the stairs but not keeping the camera level. I have been working on this as a creative technique for a while now. I quite like the result I got today. More fun to come I am sure.
