The Wild Atlantic Waves

Went for a walk around Omey Island in strong winds today, giving spectacular waves. Omey is cut off from mainland Connemara at high tide but you can walk easily over sand at low tide to reach it. In the 19th century there were hundreds of people living on Omey Island, I'm not sure there are any permanent residents at all now, though there is a number of holiday homes.

The extras are: a chough a rainbow and a breaker.
