Beach front eatery

After big storms and raising sea levels and our coastline being eaten by the sea this place is in danger of falling onto the beach, so much so there has been sandbagging getting ready for serious reconstruction/remediation of the eroded dunes. Yet they are still operating.

It used to be a place you could have a casual coffee catch up. Not anymore. No longer a cafe, it's now a restaurant and popular function venue particularly for weddings.

I walk by often, it is lovely and often populated here at the entrance and the surrounding areas with people in formal attire, night or day. And because it's partially on public land it's not completely uncommon to see a surfer or two in thongs moving though the high heels and suits....or indeed a mature woman and her old brindle Staffie X canine companion dawdle through.

We can sometimes here, from my home, the music of the celebrations. People enjoying themselves. Not rowdy, pleasantly convivial.
