Mono Monday: Waving Goodbye

The last of this year's Osteospermum flowers waves goodbye, somehow having clung on through frost and storm to December.  There's another storm coming in apparently so I don't think it will be around for very much longer.

There was a a brief patch of sunshine earlier on this afternoon, so I raced out to take this shot while there was some light. Half an hour later, as I write this, the sky has darkened and the rain is pouring down. Our guests should be arriving shortly, so I may have only limited time for blip in the next day or two.
