Filter Beds

This is Crummock Water, a lake which currently provides water for West Cumbria.  The water flows over filter beds before continuing to join the Derwent.  The day began windy and the forecast said rain.  It has changed and the sun is shining, but when I took this the sun was peeping through dark clouds.
