Hostage Roger
First proper day of leadership training and we had to deal with a hostage situation. Roger the random man who was hanging around last night was clearly a stooge and got kidnapped by two men who burst in on our first session, beat him up and carried him out. Not one of us moved. Lol!
We then discovered he was a notorious drug king and he'd been kidnapped by a rival gang. We then had to search the garden for a drug stash and two spotters who were hiding.
After finding the stash we then had to negotiate Roger's release, but as they didn't comply, we stormed the building with guns and shot one of them dead.
Not the way I learn and as I refused to play with guns I wasn't involved too much other than the search and negotiation strategy.
Got up early for a good walk, it was pitch dark when we left and most of the snow from last night had gone due to the rise in temperature and rain.
Today I am thankful for:
1. A good early walk
2. Sausages and mash with onion gravy for tea
