La Saint-Loup

Compare and contrast with last year's Easter picnic. What a miserable day ... it rained steadily all day, so there was no chance of picnicking outside. Having the "picnic" in the village hall is not the same at all. Especially when there are 20 of you, in a hall that can hold 300 :( Least successful Fête de la St-Loup ever! Still, we had a nice chat with friends who've just arrived for a couple of weeks.

At home afterwards, S continued with his project of cleaning and sealing the terracotta tiles in the living room. The fumes from this (in combination with the amount of food and drink consumed at lunchtime) made me feel so ill that I retired to bed. So overall, not a great day!
