Standing Watch

You can't go to a port without having a picture of a pelican. The background is the tankers sitting offshore. The tanker in extra 1 is going back out after unloading oil from the outer rigs. 

The pelican in extra 2 was just sitting next to a couple that were fishing. He wasn't at all bothered by me being in his face.

When we were walking on the jetty, someone told me to watch for sea turtles to pop up for air. I saw quite a few, but they didn't stay up for long. (extra 3)

An afternoon nap for the three of us was in order before Bunker & I took a walk on the beach. 

Grateful for another day at the beach. One more full day and then we are back on the road.
