Such a Lot to Do

A disappointing day as far as the weather was concerned. I was adamant I wanted to go for a walk in the woods, but I ran out of time, and it was freezing and windy. Hoping the forecast of a week of rain isn't accurate...

I popped to see Lucy, and stayed for a cup of tea. It was good to see their wardrobes and doors that have been replaced, but there's a lot to do. Mess everywhere, but they don't seem to be too bothered! Lucy was happy to see me, and jumped around, showing me the tinsel she had chosen at the garden centre. I opened my housewarming card and gift from her - a little felt ginger kitten (like me!) and a packet of Jelly snakes that she chose herself ;-) 

Then on to my house, where my dad spent a couple of hours putting up the curtain pole and assembling my bed. It's a bit too hot upstairs as I can't work out how the heating controls work.....I'm not complaining though, it's better to be too hot than too cold! 

I seemed to spend most of the day there, and came back around 6pm. I did run the dishwasher and I found my knives and forks, but no internet yet and I don't want to stay there yet in silence. 

Feel shattered, and so glad that there's only a couple of weeks of work left. I just need a break.
