Bouganvillea

So last night we discovered that Mr Shapps had to eat his words and from this Tuesday at 7pm, anyone returning to England would be required to provide either a PCR or Lateral flow test. Now today is Sunday and we have two bank holidays this week on Monday and Wednesday and we are on an island where we have to catch a ferry to get to another island to catch a plane. We are returning home on Tuesday, the first day of the new instructions and thankfully  last night I managed to book lateral flow tests to be taken in a laboratory within a pharmacy before we catch the ferry. I had to bring forward the taxi pick up time as we don’t have our own rental car this visit so I hope he turns up OK. I had an exchange of messages with the taxi driver in Spanish, he confirmed and then I sent Gracias (thank you) but it was changed to Gracie’s. He must think I am a right twit. So this evening I have spent another hour completing two passenger locator forms. All your fault for being abroad you say, during a pandemic.
It has been a beautiful day today, four loads of washing all dried and partially ironed before eldest son rang for a chat on FaceTime. And I managed my best swim this year, 20 diagonals of the pool.
