17 Mile run & another amazing evening

I ran 17 miles which is nearly 28k after work today, but to make it harder I ran up tunnel mountain and over the backside where it was incredible and up and down alot of terrain. I was trying to maintain a 7:30 pace, but this was harder than expected as the route took me 1800ft in elevation. The way was still covered in slushy deep snow in spots, but over the back side the sun lit the valley pink, by this point I was to exhausted to stop and take a photo.

I averaged about 7:40 in the end which was ok, but I was pooched at the end. This exhausted me and I realise I now need to work on my refueling. I think running after work at 6pm on no dinner doesnt favor in anyway.

This photo was taken on mile 10 running up tunnel mountain. The evening was spent watching the grand finale of Fringe & The Walking Dead! Both pretty good. Its great that its like summer out there and the only tv shows I watch are done! wooo! good timing. Happy Easter!!
