A goodbye and a lesson

Today, me and my SAGE partner, Shani, had our last visit with our SAGE senior; he's kinda like our first patient.

He was great to us! We learned so much about Mr. M's life that, if you stop and think about it, it can be overwhelming to think that there are 7,000,000,000 other people who have and are creating just as many life experiences. Crazy, huh? So much commotion for such finite beings.

On our last day, we spoke about death. Mr. M said something that stuck with me in regards to the topic. He said, in response to life after death, that the soul is like energy and once the body is no longer able to contain it, the energy leaves and goes back to where it began. I like this, there's a peace to it.

I hope to live a full and satisfying life. One that when I look back on it, I won't regret not doing or seeing something instead I'll only be rejoicing that I did.

All these little things about age and life keep reminding me of the big 2-5 that's fast approaching. Maybe life is trying to tell me something?

xoxo,
AM
