Windowsill

Walked some of the way to church, it was very cold. I bought some beautiful new boots yesterday and wanted to test them out. I need thicker socks with them so drove to the garden centre as they have a Mountain warehouse. I bought a few other things then called at Lynne's on my way home. A very quiet afternoon writing Christmas cards and organising myself. I start work tomorrow morning, my first paid work in 7 years! I am looking forward to it and thankful it won't be frosty as I have to leave home at 7.30am. I am an invigilator at my nephew's school. Its only a couple of hours Monday and Tuesday morning this week. 
The hyacinths on the windowsill smell lovely.
