Christmas Wreath

Christmas is coming.
Our first decoration went up this afternoon.
This year we have a blue and gold one to match the front door. Made by the same lady who made last years.
Our next door neighbours have put their fairy lights up on the holly tree outside our lounge window which always looks lovely.
Walking round the village I noticed that not as many houses have decorations outside this year. Maybe some will put them up nearer Christmas.

We had a nice walk out today. The weather wasn’t too bad Actually had some sunshine. Glad I had my winter fleece lined trousers on though.
Met a few friends we haven’t seen for a while, and a walk that normally takes just over an hour took nearly two.

After lunch I spent an hour tidying up the garden. Not much in the way of flowers left now.
The brown bin is now half full and won’t be emptied until February. Probably turned to compost by then!

Tomorrow the tiler is coming so will have to getup early again.
Hoping by Thursday they will all have finished.
Then can get the house straight again before putting the Christmas tree up.
