Murmuration

I was late getting moving and out today, but managed to get to Frensham Little Pond in time for a late lunch (cheese and onion pasty .. yum!)  There was then just enough time to walk round the pond, an old medieval fish pond, before sunset.

It wasn't a particularly spectacular sunset, but myself and the other walkers still around were treated to a murmuration of starlings ... the first I have ever seen in person. What a delight!
