Elephant

I’ve worked today and yesterday just for a few hours.
Went and spent time with a lovely man who has dementia, showing as short term memory loss. As in forgetting things in 5 minutes. But he has a great recall of his life, family, etc.
He is a bachelor, lives in his own home still under the watchful eye of daily carers and his wonderful sister.
We went for a walk, I thought we were going for maybe 20 mins and it ended up an hour, in the heat.
Once we got back I was worn out! I then realised that to him we could’ve only been gone ten minutes. Next time I will guide us home after 20 minutes!

Saw the toparied Elephant in a very manicured front garden while on our walk.
