Drifting hail
It seems that most of the country has been chilled down by sheets of rain, hail and snow carried briskly along by cold north westerly winds. North Devon was no exception especially at 8:55am just as us hardy ParkRunners were heading towards the start point. I had arrived 30 minutes earlier to try and get a good warm up but the cold air and squalls had the opposite effect, fortunately during the run it stayed dry so just a bit of wind chill slowed us all down.
I had a good chat with Auntie in hospital, I took in some Christmas cards for her to open and was able to have some nice conversations about the senders and the local news she had read about in the “Town Crier” a monthly community newsletter that I left for her yesterday.
