Brighter day

It was a day much brighter than we imagined. At midday we went out for a gentle walk alongside the lake, on the sunny side. M is now walking without crutches and it felt like a first proper walk. Look closely and maybe you can see a cormorant sunning himself on the tree in the lake. We watched grebes diving, swans swimming and gulls swooping. There was plenty to keep us interested. The rest of the day disappeared with a bit of shopping and then cooking.
