Snow, snow, wonderful snow.

Yesterday, and all night, the snow was gently falling. Not much, just a steady trickle, but in this cold weather it doesn't compress or melt so now we have a delicious fluffy layer of white over everything, including these post boxes.
In the countryside in Sweden the post is delivered into boxes like this and then you have to go to the box to get your post.  The people collecting their post here live between 50m and 1,5 km away, though the furthest away is a summer cottage.

As she mentioned in her blip we have now decided to go for the new (leased) plug-in hybrid car, but we have to wait three months to get it, which is fine. The car will arrive with the spring!
