Our new Christmas Tree.

The Feast Day of St.John Damascene.Priest and Doctor.
The weather has been rainy and windy for most of the day, 5c, with heavy torrential showers every so often. Everyone passing our window had hoods up and looked well wrapped up against the freezing cold wind. We are not going down to the centre for the lights being switched on due to the inclement weather, but I will check it out on Facebook later.
We needed a new hoover so we did our research and decided on a cordless Shark that has some really superb features and useful tools.
The photo shows our lovely Christmas tree in it's place near the bookshelves.
It is the best idea to be indoors so we are watching Christmas at Highclere Castle, the house where Downton is filmed, and then making a meal that includes a big open mushroom and garlic starter, Vegan sausages, beans and oven chips. Followed by apple turnovers and Vegan custard.
