Three French Hens!

As seen from the kitchen window! The hens are out foraging in the garden at the moment, not that it’s helping with egg production, we’re still getting only 3 or 4 per day. That means on most days six hens aren’t earning their keep!
I used our last two eggs making Mary Berry’s orange pastry, and 24 mince pies. I thought the pastry was a bit cake-like, but Mr F seemed to like it. Not sure if I’ll do that recipe again. 
Other than that, I walked Elvis and painted a wardrobe today!
