A Story

I overslept this morning and didn't have much time to get ready yo go catch the train. I bought a vegan flapjack to eat on the train for breakfast since I'd not had time to have any before leaving.

Having bought my ticket I discovered that there was no train but a replacement bus instead. I asked someone where it went from, she didn't know, but told me who I should ask. He also didn't know and nor did the next person. I finally found someone who did, only to be told that it would be going directly to Peterborough and not via Metheringham or any of the other stops en route. No-one else mentioned that little fact!

So I called my Dad and said I wouldn't be going today. He didn't offer to fetch me - I expect he realised traffic would be chaos with the market being on. Town was certainly busy!

I was glad to come home as I still feel "funny" I was fine this morning but having walked to town and back, been to the Post Office and made lunches for the "kids" and washed up I feel like I did last night. If I was a phone I'd say my battery was not holding its charge!

But I am at work tonight - I'm sure it will be busy with football people and market people. I hope Watan will be on form or it could be a very long night!

I had been going to Blip another Christmas decoration but I'm sure it will look better if I photograph it at night when it is lit up. I noticed these roses in the bin and blipped them because there must be a story behind a scene like this. I think a girl finally saw through her dickhead of a guy and his lies and excuses and told him where to shove his latest gift and apology!

See - roses in a bin could be a symbol of a happy ending after all!
