Digging a rainbow
I've spent most of the day digging up a border in the front garden. The plants had all got a bit out of hand in the last few years. The border contained some gardening errors. My mistake was putting periwinkle in as ground cover. It managed to grow through the weed proof membrane and stifle plants I wanted. It was very hard to get out. A mistake by a previous owner was planting bluebells. They pop up everywhere, but especially just under the edges of the concrete path, from where it is extremely hard to extract the bulbs.
This picture is of a pretty much empty border, between 2 concrete paths. I thought it was very boring, so I've just livened it up with the help of photoshop.
