This is where No.2 had padlocked his bike - outside the tube station. Bike rack with padlock but still some toe rag pinched it!! Low life taking things that belong to others - let’s hope their need was greater than No. 2? Fortunately insured and should be covered under contents policy? Just a hassle of city life I suppose and he has been cycling in London for three years so not bad?

OH played golf today and I went to BW to see if JLP have records of the carpet we bought three years ago. Never knowing undersold - a few taps of the computer revealed date and make so we can order more for our bedroom, however not before Christmas. Not sure why we have been so slow on this project? Furniture delayed now carpet too? Never mind, it will be worth waiting.

Visit to town late afternoon as we have given up waiting on flu jabs at the chemist (cancelled twice) and booked at the vaccine centre where we got two for the price of one! Booster done at the same time. Fish and chips on our laps watching a rare appearance of OH’s team on the telly (they won so may get a top team in the next round of the cup?) completed the day.
