Happy Easter!
the sun was shinning which was a great start, took both babies down stairs to show them their easter goody bags that i had done them. as erin walked into the living room i asked her who had been and she replies 'santa?'
i started doing the food and getting the house ready for the party, and mum came round to help 'hide' the eggs in the garden. erin came out to help but all we kept hearing was i've found one!
and right on cue all the children arrived for the easter party. we were waiting on one family who were 1 and a half hours late! the rest of the kids sat looking out of the living room patio doors, i think plotting their best route.
when we all finally got outside, i gave all the little ones a minute head start, erin being the oldest of the younger group so she went crazy, giggling as she was running. caleb was happy chewing on one of the knitted ducks that my mums friend had made, they had been scatted around the garden. then it was time to let the big kids go (ages 4-8). they were like wind up toys so funny. they loved it, great to watch.
after all the eggs were found we had an egg and spoon race. the an easter bonnet parade which consisted of two babies (erin was off playing at this point with the big kids) so caleb and madelyn were our models neither of them wanted to take part bless them.
finally food time and all the kiddies sat lining their stomachs for all the chocolate they would be consuming later on.
all in all a good party :)
