Last full day in the Room
When we moved upstairs to the board room (with windows) we thought ‘luxury’ but actually it’s been a pain. The heating doesn’t work as that wing has largely been mothballed due to the pandemic so we’ve been warming it up with blow heaters like students in a bed sit , the pass door doesn’t work so they are all trapped in there unless I’m with them with my super-executive pass and the lights flick on and off all the time. But. Two weeks in and the white boards have filled up considerably.
One day more tomorrow but today, with the sunset behind us as the afternoon wore on it felt like we’d done good work.
I did a quick Christmas shop at Liberty and then caught the 94 to Anglesea Arms (pub of so many happy dinners) to have dinner with Tim and Jane before back to Hotel Dinge.
