The Snail on the Ivy
Grey cloud-cover all day, which meant it was milder than it has been lately. These photos are all from our walk, and include (more white than violet) ivy-leaved toadflax and periwinkle for Flower Friday (both growing on a high grass bank). Also shiny holly leaves! Failed to photograph the worm I rescued - my hat-trick - one worm on the road three days running squirming.
Just had our dinner, which was topped off with reminders of a late August walk, when we picked blackberries: blackberry and apple crumble and custard.
Have a lovely weekend, blipmates, whatever the weather.
