Goldie

As photos go this is not one of my better ones - however it is, as far as I know a golden eagle and therefore worthy of posting.

I had been watching a white-tailed eagle perched on some rocks on a small island (too far away for a meaningful photo) which was a joy. Then walking back I had to wait for the dog to catch up and when I happened to look up there was this eagle above my head!!

I didn't have any time to change settings so all the images I took came out very dark and this was the best in terms of post processing that I could do and still have it recognisable as a bird. It's very dark but can't be helped.

Hopefully it is clear enough for people to enjoy.

By the way - if I'm wrong with the ID please let me know.
