Holly Berries.
Now we are in December the month when we have Xmas and that means Xmas cards. I usually make my own using a photograph and it is always a last minute scrabble to get them done and posted. We only seem to be having post once a week at the moment so that is only 3 posting days before Xmas - better get a move on! It'll probably be holly again but not this one - will try again for better one another day.
Weather forecast said dry today but the humidity was so high it became a light drizzle. It was a very, very still atmosphere and quite pleasant to be rained on gently. Felt more like a typical November day and all it needed was a thin, damp, wispy, wet leaf gardener's bonfire to complete the picture. But alas no, the Town Council has banned bonfires on the allotment site - how mad is that. There are two kinds - the roaring completely dry crackling ones and the ones that last for days just smouldering barely alight. Miss that smell.
