"Good" Friday

Alex & I had a pretty busy day today given that we were both childless.
We went house interior shopping and then to Emmaus, our favourite second hand shop, where I reserved a fabulous Armoire-style wardrobe (that does require quite a considerable degree of TLC).
Upon arriving home, we both Noodle out for a nice long walk. I'd never been up to Chew Reservoir so Alex took us that way.
It was a pretty steep walk!
By the time we got to the top, the cold wind was pretty fierce and there was still plenty of snow about.
Surprisingly, upon reaching the reservoir (apparently, one of the highest in the UK), we found that the whole surface was frozen! It was a pretty awe-inspiring sight.
Our decent was "off-road" and it was nightfall by the time we reached home.
I was tired, and I think so was Noodle, I'm not sure about Alex, he's fitter than me.
