Easter Chicks

Despite the patches of snow and bitter cold, there was sunshine and signs of new life all round (buds, lambs and Amy's twins on their way). A day of beautiful moments- an egg hunt where E was more intent on taking the horses apples as an Easter treat than hunting, big smiles watching five cousins so excited to be together, excessive amounts of chocolate, hair in bunches for the first time, Jamie riding his bike without stabilisers (new achievement) and savouring a delicious seven hour roast lamb. Not so beautiful moments - Grandad taking a tumble on the stairs with Ali in his arms and our disturbed night's sleep. Everything in balance!
