2021 Thursday — Afternoon at the Pier

The fog rolled in yesterday afternoon before sundown and it was such a relief. The clear skies have been lovely, but they included blazing sun in the afternoons and that provided us with a pretty warm house. So, fog with lots of cool moist air was a lovely change.

This afternoon we needed to get to the Post Office, the library, the park to walk the pups, and the Dollar Store. So we stopped near the pier to purchase a dog hot for an afternoon snack, (which became our dinner because the hot dog was so filling) and gave us an opportunity to see the pier.

Currently we are experiencing “King Tides,” which are extremely high and low tides. We could see that the tide was quite low today when we were there.
