Type Talk

Today I boarded a train off to London to go to a talk given by a designer/letterer/type creator whose work I have admired for a number of years.
Despite unknown beginnings, Seb Lester seems to have burst onto the scene in recent years and gained popularity with his calligraphy cursing.
Aside from the swear words, I do really like the rest of his work and it was very interesting to hear him speak, and so humbly so!
I met up with Becky from (ex) work, and then subsequently her London-based Mother in Law, who was really lovely and friendly.
The train got both of us back to Manchester at about midnight. All that sitting down was tiring!
