Waiting for the rooks to return

Having frightened the rooks from this new rookery on my walk and caused them to make a noisy retreat, I was hiding behind two tree trunks to get a wonderful shot of them returning to the tops of these trees. It never happened before the light was almost gone and I was frozen stiff. That will teach me to be quieter next time!
