Nothing but blue skies do I see

Aeroplane, aeroplane up in the sky
tell me to where it is you fly?
Is it Spain, is it France,
do the women wear underpants?
Is the beach of golden sand
where I can lay and get my tan?
Will the sea be clear and blue
not filled by a tampon stew?

Can I eat my ice cream in peace
without the swooping of a seagull race?
A quiet coffee, watching people stroll
not some junke flaking over a greggs sausage roll?

For just a few days of the year
I'd like to get out of here
some distant shore, a room with a view.
A place to be, just me and I.
