Poorly Pup

Thank you to everyone for their good wishes. Unfortunately Mr L started being sick this morning so I decided not to wait until 3.00pm and phoned the vet as soon as they opened. We got a 9am appointment. We left him there for bloods and an X-ray. Things still inconclusive after that so he had an exploratory op.
His small intestine was very pale. It seems there might have been a twist in his intestine. As the vet was looking at everything he untwisted it and it immediately became its usual colour. There were no foreign objects. It’s possible the twist was caused by a gastrointestinal issue that caused gas to build up. The sore tummy has been sore and made him stand funny or there’s infection which might cause inflammation of joints.
He’s home with a cone of shame. He’s had 2 palm sized portions of scrambled eggs and these have stayed down so far. We go back to the vet tomorrow. Not quite the day we expected!
