Hoopoe

This is the first time I have seen a hoopoe. People around here say they have seen them but they are not that common. Today I spent the morning at the Mairie asking them to sign an insurance form regarding the work in the street that has been done to solve the water damage in my bedroom. They refused as they did not want to accept liability. I then attended a Zoom meeting with the accountant and my daughter in law for the annual end of year accounts. We also sorted out the terms of my retirement from the business. I then played tennis for an hour before writing a letter to the insurance company and making my claim.
