IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE.................

Well I couldn't resist it, 1st December - time for decorations to go up.  Well I made a start anyway.  What a day it was though.  First of all the Christmas Tree lights wouldn't work, then only three quarters would work.  Hubby and G did their best but couldn't get the top half of the tree lights to work.  Our tree came with lights already on them to make it easier - we've had it a few years now though.  So hubby decided rather than fork out for another tree he would just pop down to Lancaster's in Grange in buy a small set of lights for the top half.  Which he did, however he got the bright white ones when the tree has the warm yellow ones - eeeekk.  Still our Christmas Star is white so ew've now got a two toned lighted tree!!!

Then my mantlepiece centre display's light wouldn't work and they couldn't be fixed either - so I've had to make do with a couple of lamps instead.  A shame rreally because I did love my centrepiece, but we have had that too for well over 20 years now.  I can still use it as an ornament just not one that lights up.
