Seaweed hierarchy

Different types of seaweed prefer certain levels on the shoreline. Here we have a perfectly delineated succession staring with Channelled wrack at the top, followed by Spiral wrack, and Egg wrack at the bottom. Bladder wrack (not shown here) is also common somewhere in-between spiral and egg.
