Wild Flowers

Today we walked from Shortcut Road towards the Devil’s Nook.     It was very hot and unusually humid.  Couldn’t believe the number of Californian poppies - a few foxgloves too.  Two extras: above the Clutha River;  a path through the poppies.
Croquet this afternoon - good games but it really was too hot.  They are forecasting rain, possibly heavy.  If it happens it would clear the atmosphere.
