So few tractors!
The midweek ride moved to Thursday due to Wednesday's forecast which was wrong anyway.
A shortish ride, 150 kms total, to The Park Cafe Marahau which is the final cafe before entering The Able Tasman National Park. The food in this cafe is very good and worth the visit and there is nothing to stop you taking a short walk into the National Park.
The bay here is called Sandy Bay and you can see why in the top picture the tractors are for taking and retrieving the water taxi's and kayaks as when the tide goes out it goes a long way.
The number of tractors is greatly reduced due to the lack of tourists curtesy of Covid, in normal times the road would have many tractors heading back and forth across the beach.
It seems my humour may have been missed yesterday (the Extra is my boat) the boat in question is worth more millions than I will ever see but my additional comment I think got missed.
Never mind!
