Ride on!

Hv 1 No. 575 from 1920 was the first steam locomotive manufactured by the factory Lokomo. Finnish railways gave it up in 1965. Today it is housed in the yard of Metso Lokomo Steels Oy.
In total, Finnish railways has used 57 different types of steam locomotives. More than twenty of these models were manufactured in my hometown Tampere. These Hv 1 "Heikki" series locomotives were used for the longest time, operating from 1915 to 1967.

The locomotive stands near the busstop, where I jumped out from the bus and walked to the communal breast cancer examination to Hatanpää hospital. The Mammography screening is provided for every women 50 - 68 years of age living in Tampere. The first screening is conducted for women at the age of 50, and the following screenings every other year until 68 years of age. The examination is free of charge here, as it is everywhere im Finland.
Each age group is chosen separately, according to the date of birth. Each woman receives an appointment letter two weeks before the date of the mammography. And a test result two weeks after the examination.

Now I just wait for results. I hope everything will be fine. Suppose so, at the moment. Felt very privileged as I stood on the bus stop with my mask and waited for a bus. Not every woman in a world is capable to attend in this kind of an examination at all.

Sun was setting, it was - 11c with mild breeze, birds flying in a clear sky.

In the evening hot sauna and swimming in some +2c freezing water of familiar and well provided Veittijärvi Winter-swimming sauna. Felt like home after our poor visit in Kaukajärvi Winter-swimming sauna yesterday.
