Parque del Retiro

Apologies for the delay in posting. I was in Madrid for the weekend, and had a fabulous time. This was the Friday, a day to myself as John was working - so I visited the Prado and the Parque del Retiro - this is the boating lake. I like the juxtaposition of the grand monument with the modern flats in the background.
